Second Sea
As a part of Update 8, a huge new map was introduced, the Second Sea.
The Second Sea is the intermediate sea in the game, and is the location that players spawn in once they have completed the Military Detective’s quest. It was added in Update 8.

Description
Unlocking the Second Sea
Accessing To access the Second Sea, you must be Lvl. 700 and above. Once you’ve reached this level, talk to the Military Detective and he will give you a special key. Travel to the Frozen Village and go to the cave where the Ability Teacher is, and open the wooden door with the key. Inside the cave will be the Ice Admiral, who you must defeat. Once you have done this, you can return to the Military Detective, who will tell you to talk to the Experienced Captain, who is located on the left side of Middle Town (NOTE: You can skip going back to the Military Detective as you already have access to the Second Sea even without talking to him). When you talk to him, he will give you the choice to travel to the Second Sea. For more information, refer to the page Accessing the Second Sea.
Spawning
Once the player completes the Military Detective’s quest, they will be teleported to the docks of the Kingdom of Rose. These docks contain several important NPCS, and are located nearby the first two leveling areas.
Difficulty
This sea is still relatively safe, although it is still far more hazardous than the First Sea. The NPCS do much more damage and have more dangerous moves. Also, Aura starts to become prevalent in the later islands here, making Elemental fruits much less effective. Additionally, bounty hunting becomes more common, although it is less of a risk on islands other than Kingdom of Rose.
Design
The designs here are still fairly basic, although they are much better made than the ones in the First Sea. Most of the buildings with interiors are far better decorated, and islands in general are more complex. There are less islands overall, but the size of the islands is much greater, with Kingdom of Rose being one of the biggest in the entire game. The NPCS also use more modern attacks.
Fragments
In The Second Sea, a new type of currency is introduced called Fragments, which can be obtained by defeating Raid Bosses and winning in Raids. It can also be obtained by defeating a Sea Beast that spawns in the sea. You can use these when buying Race Changes, Stat Resets, the Flower Ship, Fighting Styles, Kabucha, and Fruit Awakenings after successfully finishing a Fruit Raid for the specific Fruit.
List of Islands
- Kingdom of Rose, the largest island and the one that you arrive on, serves as a hub island. It has many things, such as the Mansion and The Café.
- Green Zone, a large island filled with megaflora that is connected to the Kingdom of Rose by a large bridge where the Marine Admiral Fajita resides. (Plokster is located on the bridge, Alchemist is an NPC that upgrades your Race to V2 once you reach Level 850 and completed Bartilo’s quest).
- Graveyard, a small island filled with undeads.
- Dark Arena where Darkbeard, a Level 1000 Raid Boss, can be spawned. (Requires Fist of Darkness)
- Remote with The Strongest God who sells Kabuchagun for 1,500 .
- Snow Mountain, a snow island, and the homes of Snow Trooper and Warrior (The Fighting Style, Superhuman, can be bought here.).
- Hot and Cold is an island with the combination of ice and lava where you can start Raids and equip Fighting Styles from the First Sea.
- Cursed Ship, a ship docked next to the graveyard that is full of undead and haunted enemies that drop Ectoplasm which can be traded with various NPCs for Items and a race (Ghoul) on the ship.
- Ice Castle, a snow covered island with a massive castle guarded by the Awakened Ice Admiral, also contains several secrets. (This is where you buy the Death Stepfighting style and obtain the legendary sword, Rengoku).
- Forgotten Island, an island that every generation forgets. With the Tide Keeper Boss, he uses the moves of Dragon Trident. He also has a chance to summon a fake Sea Beast. (Sharkman Karate can be bought here and defeat Tide Keeper for the rare sword, the Dragon Trident).
- King Toad’s House, a secret room that is beside the Awakenings Expert where it is «CLASSIFIED». There is nothing to do in it.
- A small island dubbed «Cave Island» which houses two Chests, gold and silver, and a secret room that leads to a Blue Flower and a diamond chest.

Accessing the Second Sea
In order to enter the Second Sea, the player must be at least level 700.
Once the player meets this requirement, they will have to go to the Prison and talk to the Military Detective, who stands at the entrance near the Quest Givers. He will then ask the player to go to Frozen Village, as the Ice Admiral is likely there, whilst giving you a key to the door that leads to the Ice Admiral.
Once there, go to the ability cave (where Enhancement, Flash Step, and Skyjump are bought), unlock the brown door using the key, then kill the Ice Admiral.
Once he is defeated, go and talk to the Military Detective. He will tell the player that Don Swan has escaped to the Second Sea.
Afterwards, the player will be able to go to Middle Town and talk to the Experienced Captain, prompting to take the player to the Second Sea.
Tips for the New World [ ]
- Farm at Fountain City until level 750 since the first quest only gives 6.3mil exp and Cyborg gives more so server hop him till level 750.
- Once in the Second Sea, watch out for bounty hunters. Most of them will not be able to take your bounty due to level difference, still be sure to watch out for those abusive bounty hunters, they constantly try to kill you despite not getting any bounty, even if your PVP is disabled, they’ll try to attack.
- All bosses spawn per 20 minutes, with the exception of Don Swan and Tide Keeper who spawns per 30 minutes.
- Do not even try to solo other bosses when you’re not strong enough.
- It’s recommended to just keep repeating the Raiders quest until Level 775 since they are really easy to group than the mercenaries.
- It’s recommended to grind in a private server because of the absurd amount of bounty hunters, only do this if people are disturbing your grind or if you just want peace and quiet.
