The Fishman Lord is a level 425 Boss, NPC, added in Update 2. This Boss, spawns every 7.5 minutes, in front of his throne. And has a 10% chance of dropping the Trident.
If his health gets to around 40-50%, he will transform into his a «second form» and regenerate all his health. This can be prevented by not using melee moves, and instead killing him with longer range moves.
Contents
Location
This Boss can be found in the palace of Underwater City inside of the palace in front of the throne. The Quest associated with this boss gives the player 15,000 and 4,250,000 Exp. .
Behavior
Unlike other 1st sea bosses. He will enter 2nd phase once brought down to low health on phase 1. Enhance his attacks, movement speed and regain his health, note that health regain happens once and he will not regain any health once brought down to low health during phase 2.
He has Trident equipped, and able to use Trident Moves.
Attacks
- Trident Throw — Fishman Lord throws Trident. If it hits surface, it will pull him toward the surface that trident hit. If it hits player, it will pull the player toward Fishman Lord.
- Water Pulse — Fishman Lord creates a small shockwave around himself that pushes away any player within range and deals medium damage.
Drops
- When you defeat the Fishman Lord, there is a 10% chance to get the Trident.
- Also drops Fish Tail
Notes
- When he is transformed into his second phase, His appearance will get a visual change.
- The second form has a rather terrifying mouth and eyes, resembling a demon from a horror game.
Tips
- It is best to use Instinct to dodge his attacks, since Trident Throw cannot break Instinct however Water Pulse can.
- A way to defeat him easily is to hit him, then run outside of the palace. Get the Fishman Lord on the other side of the wall, then use long-range AOE (Area of Effect) moves, or rapid melee attacks. Make sure not to use your moves all at once, since in the time you stop using moves he could regenerate.

A Sea Beast is a sea-related mini-boss that can be spawned through certain Sea Events, the Summon Sea Beast item, Raids, while fighting the Tide Keeper and during the Trial of Water for Shark V4. Sea Beasts come in a variety of colors, including green, brown, red, and blue. The total health of the Sea Beast is determined by the player who spawned it.
Sea Beasts, unlike most aggressive NPCs, are only vulnerable to special moves and are immune to M1 attacks. However, some special moves remain invulnerable to Sea Beasts, most notably single-target moves (e.g. Shadow’s C Move, Nightmare Leech and Venom’s C Move, Toxic Fog).
When a player earns 10 million bounty, they can summon a Sea Beast. The summoned Sea Beast has about 20k HP (35k in Third Sea) and does not drop anything when defeated.

Spawning [ ]
In Third Sea here will be some possibility that Rumbling Waters is summoned (It can happen anywhere in the sea, but you must be in Third Sea).
However, multiple Sea Beasts can very rarely be spawned at once in both Second Sea and Third Sea. This is NOT Rumbling Waters, as there are no rain effects.
The player does not have to be moving to spawn in a Sea Beast, as long as the player is in the driver’s seat of a boat and far enough from shore, they will spawn in the direction you are facing.
Rewards [ ]
Abilities [ ]
Name | Description | Move Notes | How To Avoid |
---|---|---|---|
Deadly Shower | Water Kung Fu’s X move but longer and bigger. | Mid-ranged attack, used commonly against ledges. Extremely easy to dodge in the sea. | Move by dashing or swimming. |
Water Beam | Shoots a vertical, deadly, blue-beam that deals huge damage and knockback. | Long-ranged attack, used when the player is more than 75 studs away or on top of the Sea Beast’s head. If the player is using Buddha V2 and standing on the sea, the Sea Beast can push you down into the water and drown you if you aren’t using the Shark race. | Using Instinct when it is charging. |
Deadly Roar | Roars, sending out an AoE attack that stuns the player, deals damage, and breaks Instinct. | Close-ranged attack, used to knock players away and prevent them from countering Water Beam. | Predict when the move happens and turn Instinct off. |
Dive | Returns to the water for a short amount of time, few moments after it will return back. However this is also a sign that the Sea Beast will despawn. | Completely disappears while underwater, cannot be seen or damaged with any moves. | N/A |
Tips [ ]
- Use the Shark race to your advantage and make yourself immune to water with V2.
- NEVER have your Instinct on at all times, only use it to dodge Water Beams, as attacks can drain/break your Instinct, preventing you from dodging incoming beams.
- Death Step is the recommended fighting style while Sea Beast hunting for its ranged high-damage moves and its Z, X, C and V moves can do damage to them(Z and X requires the player to be a distance away from the Sea Beast in order to actually hit it).
- As of the Race Awakening Update, all Sharkman Karate move can also damage Sea Beasts, and is a good alternative to Death Step.
- However, it is recommended to use swords with travel moves or long range attacks such as Canvander, if you are not Shark v2/v3.
- Ice is also helpful due to its ability to walk on water.
- Note that the water-walking abilities will NOT save you if you get pushed into the water by a Water Beam/Deadly Roar.
- Light is also good for Sea Beast hunting as you can use the F move to escape or dodge moves and all of the moves have good damage.
- Leopard is also a recommended fruit to hunt Sea Beasts as all of its moves(including the roar when transforming and the F move) can damage sea beasts.
- This is also the case for Dough and Blizzard, including their F moves.
- Blizzard’s F move can deal around 5k damage per second, which is very useful for dealing extra damage.
- Buddha V2 can be useful due to its half-immunity to water, however keep in mind that you CAN be pushed to the water by a Water Beam, and Deadly Shower will deal significantly more damage, since it is easier to land projectiles on your bigger hitbox.
- You also cannot damage Sea Beasts with simple clicks, you need to damage them using moves.
- Barrier Z and V can be used to create platforms that help you recharge your Air Jump so you can stay in the air longer.
- DO NOT use Control when hunting Sea Beasts, as only the X move can deal damage to them, and you can’t use anything other than boats for it to work.
- Some recommended Accessories to use while fighting Sea Beasts are damaging-boosting accessories such as Golden Sunhat or Hunter Cape. These allow you to deal more damage, ending the encounter more quickly.
- Lei is also recommended to quickly heal any damage sustained from Sea Beasts.
- Accessories that decrease your move cooldowns are also helpful, as you can use more moves in a shorter time.
- Pale Scarf can also be used, as you can dodge more Water Beams due to the additional Instinct dodges. This is especially helpful in Rumbling Waters.
- Getting Human V2 can also provide an extra dodge.
- Use Boats with high health so that they are not easily destroyed. They can also provide a solid surface to regain Air Jumps.
- Try to stay high in the air so that Water Beam does not push you underwater and kill you.
- Learn to read the moves. If you are far away and the Sea Beast suddenly turns your way and recoils, or if they emits a certain charging sound effect, they are likely going to use the water beam. This can be easily read and countered by dodging with Instinct or by dodging using a dash move(not recommended as the timing is extremely tight). Turn off Instinct immediately after dodging the beam(unless you hear another beam incoming) to prevent other attacks from disabling it.
- Deadly shower is similar but the Sea Beast usually uses it at closer range. Each bullet does minuscule damage but can be fatal if all of them hit. It should not pose a threat due to the large space between projectiles, making it easier to dodge the projectiles, unless you are a Buddha user, or are near a surface for the projectiles to explode on. The attack has a long duration, and the Sea Beast is stuck in place while performing the attack, so punish the sea beast while it is using Deadly Shower.
- If the Sea Beast suddenly stops moving and raises it’s head, turn off your Instinct because it’s going to roar, which can break your Instinct, preventing you from dodging an incoming Water Beam (Only for multiple Sea Beasts/Rumbling Waters).
- When you hear/notice a Water Beam incoming, stop holding the move and activate Instinct immediately(unless the Sea Beast is low). It is better to dodge the beam than to deal more damage but risk losing health in the middle of the fight.
- Occasionally using long-ranged moves on other Sea Beasts is a good tactic to prevent them from despawning.
Trivia [ ]
- Sea Beasts let out roars when spawned. You can use this to find Sea Beasts efficiently. However, keep in mind that Magma V2’s F move has a similar sound effect, but a little bit shorter duration , which may lead to confusion.
- Sea Beasts will disappear once the player is out of range for too long (around 30 seconds), or automatically after 15 minutes if not killed.
- Players were able to walk on Sea Beasts’ heads before the remodel of their design.
- «SB» is an abbreviation of Sea Beast (such as «sb hunt» for when people want to hunt Sea Beasts).
- Multiple Sea Beasts that is not Rumbling Waters are dangerous, as their un-nerfed Water Beams deal very high damage, much more frequently. Not timing your Instinct properly can be fatal.
- Aura and Instinct do NOT increase or decrease the chances of a Sea Beast appearing.
- Two people can both get a Fist of Darkness from the same Sea Beast, as long as they do enough damage.
- Sea Beasts cannot be seen with Instinct, although it’s moves can be dodged with it.
- Soul Guitar M1 can damage Sea Beasts.
- The health of Sea Beasts varies on the level of the person who spawned it. For example:
- Level 700-1800: 100k
- Level 1800-2000: 125k
- Level 2000-2200: 150k
- Level 2400+: 170k
- They also reward different amount of Beli according to their level.

- This is also the case for Dough and Blizzard, including their F moves.
