Easy to focus. I love the case that came with it. that little bit extra just completes the package. I noticed when I use these at night the color is amazingly sharp and bright. Great 30 year life guarantee which just shows how confidant Steiner are. I’m more that happy with this product.

Although you would think that Panamax and Cape-size ships would carry good and well maintained binoculars, most don’t! I first experienced Steiner binoculars in the 1980’s and always hankered after a pair. In July of this year, 2019, I finally purchased the model 2304, 7X50 Steiner Commanders having become fed up with the poor binoculars on the ships I work on. The optics, light-gathering properties and all-round ruggedness of the Commanders are impressive. In low light, twilight and fog conditions of the Arctic, these binoculars certainly help to pick out multi-year sea ice and bergy bits. If they allow me to avoid damaging ice, they will have proven their worth many times over. I hope to get many years of good service from them!

I have used a few other brands in the past and none can match up to the Steiner’s. Excellent value for the money and a 30 year warranty really makes this a great value. Came with all the lens covers and floatable straps and a very high quality hard case for storage and transportation. These are a “must have” for any boat enthusiasts or sailor. Also did I mention that they are water proof. Great product. These baby’s set the standard in marine binoculars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bunches from My first pair of Steiners! Growing up as far back as I can remember my father owned a pair of military Steiner 7×50’s (that he purchased back in the 1980’s). I have a lot of hunting background growing up in eastern Co. and have spent countless hours looking through his pair of 7×50’s and they in my opinion offer the best picture and field of view possible, not to mention their unmatched durability/ruggedness. Both me and my father agree that the Steiner 7×50 commanders that I recently purchased are nothing but perfection at its finest. Offering the great field of view the 7×50 objectives/magnification is know for and Nano-Protection lens coatings they couldn’t of dreamed of back in the 1980’s. Due to my love for Steiner products I have already purchased a GS3 4-20×50 rifle scope for my 30-06 and will continue to purchase Steiner products for years to come (like the MSR reflex sight). Don’t forget about Steiner’s amazing warranties.

I just replaced them with a sweet pair of new ones!There is just something about high quality gear, it has a certain feel ,and always performs when you need it. That is Steiner! They never disapoint me. I live on the water, I hunt , I fish and I do a lot of boating and I have had lots of binoculars, nothing compares to the quality of my Steiners. I will always grab them over any other optics.

Одна из самых интересных особенностей морских биноклей Штайнер, возможность настраивать диоптрии для каждого глаза отдельно. Если у вас лучше видит допустим левый глаз, вы для него подстраиваете диоптрии отдельно, а для правого глаза отдельно. Это позволяет видеть отличную, контрастную, четкую картинку обоими глазами. И в итоге получить самое качественное увеличенное изображение.

Компасы в морских биноклях STEINER уже настроены на одну часовую зону, которых всего в мире пять. Обзорная информация по географическому делению

Что касается продуктов Commander 7×50 и Navigator 7×50/7×30, поставляемых на российский рынок, то они оснащены компасом, настроенным на зону 2, что подходит для основной водной части России.
В другие страны с другими зонами производитель STEINER поставляет бинокли, которые оснащены компасом, соответствующим зоне поставки — таким образом, существует 5 разных артикулов производителя для биноклей STEINER с компасом — для всех разных географических зон. Например, для Австралии нужен бинокль с компасом, настроенным на зону 5.
Если у клиента есть бинокль, но он знает, что ему нужно будет использовать его в другой географической зоне в течение долгого времени, STEINER, по запросу через дистрибьютора, может заменить компас в своем сервисном центре в Германии. Однако, за это придётся взять плату по предусмотренному сервисному тарифу, так что для клиента это не бесплатно.
Только компас в бинокле Commander Global работает по всему миру, так как это цифровой компас, он осуществляет электронный замер магнитного поля и автоматически подстраивается.

РАЗНИЦА В КОМПАСАХ COMMANDER и NAVIGATOR PRO

В серии Commander — электронный компас, со стабилизацией, высокоточной визирной сеткой и подсветкой. Электронный датчик измерения магнитного поля гарантирует очень точные данные, даже когда измерения производятся при больших углах наклона относительно горизонта. Стабилизатор не позволяет стрелке компаса отклоняться от верного значения при резких поворотах, что дает возможность получать важную информацию без необходимости дожидаться, пока компас стабилизируется естественным образом. Компас в Commander — прекрасная навигационная система, благодаря которой легко проводить точный расчет расстояния до объекта.

В серии Navigator Pro встроен самый точный в мире аналоговый компас с системой жидкостного демпфирования и способностью ударопоглощения в своем классе. Это компас с подсветкой для использования в ночное время и навигационной меткой. Базовые функции компаса в серии Navigator Pro сравнимы с моделью Commander. Однако, компас в Navigator Pro аналоговый, и там нет электронной системы, осуществляющей пеленгацию. Но, при этом, есть электронная система, позволяющая осуществлять подсветку.
Навигационная азимутальная метка отображается в поле зрения в компасе Navigator Pro, когда вы смотрите в бинокль. И это ориентир, показывающий вам в каком направлении вы смотрите. С помощью такого компаса можно рассчитать азимут (угол между двумя точками на горизонте) путём вычисления разницы между значениями, показываемыми компасом, между этими двумя точками. Однако, определение точного расстояния до объекта вашего наблюдения с компасом в Navigator Pro невозможно. Внутри нет прицельной сетки , как в Commander, которая используется для таких расчётов.
